A is for: ‘Armourbraid‘, the toughest braid on the market! Also for ‘Anti-Tangle’ which is a term used for set ups that offer a minimal chance of tangling during a cast.

B is for: ‘Bed Buddy’, a brilliant piece of Nash gear that turns your bed chair into a normal chair or can be used on its own as a low chair. Also for ‘Braid’, a type of line that is made from woven smaller lines and offers very little stretch which makes it ideal for certain situations. Bank-Tramp: someone who for whatever reason spends a little more time on the bank than is healthy.

C is for: ‘Cobra’, the brand that offers everything you will ever need to get your freebies into the water, whether it is particle at 10yrd or boilies at 110yrd, Nash make a tool for it! Also for ’Carp’ the most sought after fish species in the UK.

D is for: ‘Diffusion’, our unique and clever way of camouflaging for any lake bed that can be found incorporated into all of our end tackle products. Also for ‘Dropped’ the term used when a carp falls off your hook for no apparent reason.

E is for: ‘End tackle’, everything from your hook to your mainline such as leads, leaders and beads.

F is for: ‘Forty’, the true benchmark for massive carp all over the world. Also for ‘Feeling the lead down’, the technique used by many top anglers to ensure that there end tackle lands in a fishable position. ‘FANG’, The only word you need to look for when looking for a hook to suit your needs.

G is for: ‘Ground bait’, an underused tactic for carp fishing involving using hi-attract powders to attract fish into your swim. Also for ‘Gary’, as in Bayes, the one man carp bait machine who knows everything there is to know about bait. ‘Globetrotter’, a carp mat designed to hold and protect the biggest carp in the world!

H is for: ‘H-gun’, an awesome range of rods aimed at the junior or budget angler, don’t let the price fool you! The quality is what you would expect from gear costing twice as much. Also for ‘helicopter rig’, a rig that allows your hook link to revolve around your leader during the cast, which offers great anti-tangle and presentation advantages.

I is for: ‘Indulgence’, the only name you need to know for the ultimate in bank side furniture. Also for ‘Intimate’, a polite word for ‘tiny’ when referring to a venue.

J is for: ‘catching out consultants that think they can do an A-Z of carp fishing!!! Any ideas??

K is for: ‘Kevin’, the reason many of us can carp fish the way we do. The first to make quality, dedicated carp fishing tackle and still by far the best!

L is for: ‘Leader’, a length of material attached to the end of your mainline that are used for different reasons, some use a lead core or fluorocarbon to help camouflage there end tackle while others use tougher materials to add extra distance to a cast or help protect there line in snaggy conditions. Also for ‘Lead core’, a leader material that is a braid with lead running through the middle which helps it to sink.

M is for: ‘Mother nature’, an anglers greatest friend or worst enemy. Also for ‘Mutant’ Nash’s range of awesome imitation plastic baits. ‘Maggimesh’: a pva designed by Nash to hold very small items such as maggots.

N is for: ‘NASH’, the biggest and best name in carp tackle and bait! Also for ‘No spook tubing’ another great addition to our great range of Diffusion terminal tackle products.

O is for: ‘Oval Brolly’, a product designed by Kevin many years ago that is still copied to this day. ‘Optonic’: an old brand name attached to the first bite alarms, still used today as a general term.

P is for: ‘P.V.A.’ a material found a lot in carp fishing that can be made into all manor of useful items such as string, tape, mesh and solid bags, once in water it dissolves completely allowing you all manor of uses. ‘Profile’: the next generation of carp fishing brollys.

Q is for: ‘Quick change’, Nash make several quick change products that allow you to quickly change rigs, lead or even spods as the fishing situation changes.

R is for: ‘Rigs’, the broad term given to anything that incorporates a hook. Also for ‘Rig station’ the Rolls Royce of tackle boxes.

S is for: ‘Safety bolt bead’, another original Nash innovation that has been copied, but never equalled, by everyone in carp fishing that allows the lead to discharge during a fight with a big fish. Also for ‘Scopex Squid Liver’ one of the best carp baits ever made! Still as good today as when it first hit the tackle shop shelves.

T is for: ‘Terminal tackle (TT)’, a term that covers all items of tackle that are cast into the water. Also for ‘Titan’ the most famous and well respected carp house in the world of which a new one is very close to being released. ‘Triggalink’: another first from Nash, the worlds only elasticised hook link material!

U is for: ‘Ultimate Marker’ a complete marker float system that covers every situation you can think of. ‘Ultrasilk’: a super supple braid hook length material.

V is for: ‘Very’, which can often be found in front of other words like: good, warm, comfortable and reliable in nearly all reviews of Nash products.

W is for: ‘Weed’, something that Nash recognise is going to be a problem for all carp anglers at some point in there career, as such we make products such as bolt beads and marker floats specifically for fishing in the green stuff.

X is for: ‘Xtreme Pursuit’ another Nash brand that is well respected by anglers fishing for massive carp.

Y is for: ‘Yellow’ a colour of bait that carp just seem to find impossible to resist!

Z is for: ‘Zero tolerance’, the name found on only the highest calibre of carp fishing clothing.
